Throughout the school year, teachers are invited to participate in three professional development workshops that focus on sharing debate resources, honing debate skills, building unity/relationships within DEBATE-Kansas City, and inviting coaches to make decisions and take ownership of the organization. Many decisions leading DEBATE-Kansas City have been teacher driven-this is why many teachers have had such a commitment to the league.
