ACE Tournament a Great Close to a Wonderful Season!

4/8/2009 -- Over 175 DEBATE-Kansas City students competed in the final DKC tournament of the season. The ACE middle school high school combined tournament is a one of a kind tournament bringing students from 6th grade to 12th grade together in one tournament experience.

DKC launches Middle School Policy Debate

4/7/2009 -- DEBATE-Kansas City students engaged in 24 policy debates and gave over 200 student congress speeches at the Coronado Middle School weeknight tournament March 3rd 2009. The tournament represented the first time DKC has featured policy debate so prominently at a middle school tournament.

2/25/2009 -- Nearly 200 students from 14 area middle schools debated on the campus of Lincoln College Preparatory Academy in Kansas City, Missouri in DEBATE-Kansas City’s fifth middle school weeknight tournament of the season.

2/25/2009 -- Foreign Language Academy hosted a student congress tournament February 10 2009. Nearly 200 students from 15 different middle schools competed with energy and vigor.

DKC Debaters Sound Off at Southeast

1/23/2009 -- Southeast @ Manual hosted DKC’s first weeknight policy debate tournament of 2009. Nine schools competed in student congress and policy debate at a tournament that was to be held in December, but moved dates due to snow.
